DE BLOATING 101

Let’s be honest, being bloated is the WORST feeling to have. We have put together all of our tips and tricks on how to beat the bloat!

 

THINGS TO TRY TO BEAT BLOATING:

  • Hot lemon water - helps aid in digestion  & consuming lemon water can help reduce the amount of salt retained in the body and help with bloating. We like to drink this first thing in the morning or right before we go to bed!

  • Peppermint tea - peppermint actually relaxes the gut and is amazing for any sort of digestional issues. Peppermint tea is great after a larger meal as well to help reduce bloat

  • Stomach massage - massage your fist with gentle pressure clockwise in a circle to help aid in digestion.

  • Staying hydrated and get active. If you’re feeling puffy or bloated - make sure to get a sweat in! Even if it’s just a sauna sesh & make sure to hydrate hydrate hydrate!! 

  • Magnesium - if you’re feeling backed up, take a magnesium and it will help aid your body in digestion. If we are feeling bloated we like to take two before bed.
